Another damn sad attempt at regularity

Two days=two posts!? Surely the seas are running red with blood...or some other harbinger of the apocalypse.

Anyway, the cheese is back with a vengeance! Well, really he was simply motivated to do some shiznit up on the blizog thanks to spending half his work day reading the ol' Penny Arcade in book form. Damn! If only the cheese had half their talent and/or follow through he might have a reasonably successful online comic staring his own alter ego...or he might have a finished novel...or at the very least some finished homework.

Of course, it's hard to get shit done when all you want to do is sleep, or play Football Manager. Especially when reality involves stories about blind disabled father in-laws taking midnight strolls on the freeway....seriously, you can't make shit like this up!

But the cheese digresses (is that even a word?). At least baseball starts for real on Monday, cause the Dodgers can't possibly be as bad as they were last year, right?...right?!...OH GOD, they're gonna be even worse this year!!!!

Sleep, who needs that? That is why we have caffeine.

Sadly, caffeine stopped working on the cheese long ago. Mings hired goon can recount the tale of the failed "double Pepsi"...

Indeed the story has been recounted as having spiked your pepis with no-dose.

And 20 minutes later the cheese was soundly hasleep!

Hey, with Depodesta gone how much worse can they be? Personally, I look forward to sitting in some new seats.

Well, yes depodesta is gone, and new seats are nice and all, but...dodgers fans have to hope that Nomar and jd Drew can BOTH make it through an entire year without spending significant time on the DL...also, there is still no staff ace, they're throwing out 4 #3 starters and Brett Tomko (someone who the cheese has personally despised for a number of years)...similarly, we must hope that Gange can make it through the whole year, and Kent doesn't regress as 38 year old middle infielders are wont to do...and you know what, the cheese supported most of the moves depodesta made (except giving the out clause in Drew's contract, what's next, the team supplying hookers for everybody on extended road trips), getting rid of Mota, Green, and LoDuca was something that needed to be done, getting Penny was smart, and it's doubtful Beltre will ever reproduce his 2004 numbers...besides even if the Dodgers do make the playoffs (and thank god the division is so stupendously weak), we have Grady Little at the helm, so we can be sure that he'll make some stupid switch at the absolute wrong time
