A little breath of sanity...

It seems a constant theme of late; depression.

Maybe it's the sleep deprivation. Maybe it's the constant stress and anxiety that's part and parcel of having a three week old infant. Maybe it's the pending return to graduate school, now with three classes instead of two! Maybe it's the soul sucking job at miscellaneous advertising agency. Or maybe it's some sort of demonic curse placed upon him by his enemies.

Whatever the reason, the cheese has entered into a definite "funk" of some kind. Where can your generous overlord turn to stem the seemingly overwhelming tide of suicidal thoughts...why Penny Arcade of course!

But what are the odds of rolling two 20's in a row for a successful dive/roll/attack where your opponent ends up in four even pieces from the damage done by your two powerful blades? Well, what it is?

Posting this as an addendum to the bigger post...

The cheese cries for all the nerdy goodness he is missing...

But you know what had even higher oods? That time Exion fought Ms. Red and lived. Yeah, yeah, I know that Blank helped a bit but there was still the odds that his head could pop.

Ahh good times. Nothing quite like popping heads with your bare hands and using mecha grenades as regular grenades and 3 crates of schtekins.

Damn Exion and his schtekins!!!!

As for experience it was...um...er...one hundred million, yeah that's right, trillion experience points.

As for gaming...you read the actual post to this, right?

Hey every schtetkin he had was one less for the communists to use against him.

If the cheese isn't mistaken, the schtekin couldn't actually hurt Exion...even if firing at his bare flesh...in fact, couldn't Exion do more damage wielding one as a club than shooting it...and could his hands even fit in the trigger compartment?

It's possible, the cheese supposes, that most of the characters in that particular game were a wee bit (just a bit mind) overpowered...

All true points but what you don't know is that Exion is very anti-communist. He was grown with the ideals of democracy and 50s America. You know speak softly but carry a tank. Not a tank for shooting people, a tank for beating people.

Yes he could do more damage by hitting or throwing a gun at someone than shooting it. I mean he could rip open the tops of armored vehicles and rip the pilots out in order to disable them.

He had no use for them with his trusty sidearm, the G-cal 50 and a back pack full of ammo.

You've gotta ask the question, "Why would the Robotech masters create slaves and then indocrinate them to rebel at some future point?"

Just more of the truck sized plot holes in robotech the rpg.
