The cheese is convinced that a blind, functionally retarded, one-handed chimp could do his new job. He's never felt that he's been too intelligent for a job before (well, OK, he has felt that at the bookmines, but that's a given if you have any brain function), but he certainly feels that way now.

In their first season the Runner's walked away with the Regional Division Two title with more than 20 points up on second place Euston City.
Another semester down, another A and A-. Damn 3.85 GPA is like an albatross around the cheese's neck.

If those three ain't back next season the cheese won't be able to bring himself to watch'although that four toed statue piece, a la Lord of the Rings, was pretty damn interesting. There is one thing everyone can agree on, though, don't F with the electromagnetism'then again, will Rose's cancer return now that "The Swan" is no more?

I know what you mean about work. I just took over the job of a guy that quit and my new responsibilities include some level of mind numbing monotony.
I found it very strange the way they deliberately avoided revealing locke, eko, and desmond's fate. Charlie didn't say a word and no one else seemed very anxious to find out what happened at the hatch. I don't think rose's cancer will return but If she gets more cancer or another injury, she may not be healed so easily.
I hope they don't kill off desmond since his story line is just getting started. Also Locke would have some good characterization for a man who lost his faith just to regain it through imperical(?) proof. I'm pretty sure something has to happen as I doubt they are getting rid of sawyer, jack, and kate anytime soon.

WTF was up with the vacuum tube?
I honestly think the vacuum tube was added by the writers to poke fun at all the people who thought the button was fake(my wife included).
It could also be a way to have people monitor the Swan without questioning what the people were doing.
I'm not sure that Micheal is going to leave the island. I think he may turn back and attempt to save jack, kate and sawyer. Then spend the rest of the season trying to redeem himself in their eyes. I think they have spent too much time trying to make him a sympathetic character to just end up having him be a murdering piece of crap.
the cheese is sure he's entirely sympathetic...he's been kinda a dick through the whole thing, really, but the cheese believes his guilt will overcome him, once away from the island, and he'll search out anything he can related to the Hanzo foundation or the Dharma initiative...
