Why is FX the best channel on TV?

Well, maybe not the best, since Fox Soccer Channel is replaying last season's Liverpool matches on the weeknights (yeah!), but FX is pretty damn good. That Sunny in Philadelphia thing the cheese has only caught snippets of, but it seems solid, and on tonight so a definite decision to continue to watch will be made. But more than that, FX has 30 days, coming back in a couple weeks, and Rescue Me.

30 is, without a doubt, the best reality show ever. And the cheese hasn't even seen every episode, but that's how good it is. Fear Factor, please!

Rescue Me, though, may be the best show on TV. But what about Lost, or Veronica Mars, the cheese hears you saying. Well, they are damn good, damnitty damnit! But have you seen Rescue Me? It's a funny, hard-boiled, serious, touching ass show with just a hint of fantasy (since the main character sees, and converses with, the ghost of his dead cousin). Plus, when have you ever seen a drugged out fireman steal a bunny?

I have to agree that FX has some pretty good shows. It's always sunny in Philadelphia is a good show. The humor is a little different than your average sitcom so it probably won't appeal to everyone or the unwashed masses. I think it's funny, especially last nights episodes about underage drinking and steroid use.

30 days is the best "reality show" on television and this season seems to have better show ideas than last season. Although I might argue that to call 30 days a reality show might cheapen it a little. It's so much more than your average reality show.

No doubt the "reality show" moniker is already outdated. It's odd to lump Survivor, The Real World, Laguna Beach, Wife Swap and 30 Days into the same category...but since it is unscripted and stars "real" people, the cheese doesn't know what else to call 30 days.

The verdict on last night's Sunny in Philadelphia: bueno! The end turned momma_cheese off, but it was a nice way to basically sum up every character on the show.

The end of which episode? The unerage drinking or the steroids one?

Both really, but the cheese was referring particularly to the steroids episode.

The girl might have been okay just a little paralyzed but still good. Mrs. Degyte was put off by the underage drinking episode because a couple of those kids looked quite a bit younger than high school.

One of the other good episodes was when the brother and sister went on unemployment and then had to smoke crack in order to collect welfare.
